The Potowatomi Casino Hotel is a 18-floor, 381 room hotel to be added to the Potawatomi Bingo Casino. The Forest County Potawatomi tribe announced the previously rumored plans on January 17th, 2012.

The hope is to have the hotel completed by the spring of 2014. The project is estimated to cost $150 million.

The hotel’s location is a vacant lot southwest of West Canal Street and 16th Street, which was previously occupied by Badger Railing.

It was originally rumored in 2011 that the hotel was considering plans for a 400-room, 22-story hotel at the same location.
