Celebrating the Lunar New Year

"Year of the Tiger" festivities include special RuYi menu, entertainment and prizes

MILWAUKEE (Jan. 27, 2022) – Come celebrate the Lunar New Year at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. The Year of the Tiger begins Feb. 1 and you can take part in the festivities with new menu items from RuYi and entertainment throughout the property.

RuYi has special selections for the Lunar New Year, with dishes including “Tiger Chicken,” “Peking Pork Spare Ribs,” and the “Money Bags” appetizer featuring shrimp wontons. Order from the Chef’s Special Menu and you’ll receive a red envelope with prizes including Fire Keeper’s Club® Reward Play to use on the casino floor. The special menu is available Feb. 1-13.

On Saturday, Feb. 5, see Lion Dancers perform a thrilling Lunar New Year dance at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Then, on Sunday, Feb.6, don’t miss the “Lunar New Year Variety Show” at the Northern Lights Theater with performances at 3 and 7 p.m.
