8th Annual Tour of America’s Dairyland Cycling Events June 17-26
10 local communities to participate in popular family-friendly event
MILWAUKEE— (June 14, 2016) – Neighborhood events complete with entertainment, family fun and kids activities are on tap when the prestigious cycling races of the Tour of America’s Dairyland roll into local communities from June 17-26, presented by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
The largest competitive road cycling event in the United States, the Tour of America’s Dairyland welcomes an average of 500 racers, from Junior to Pro level, to the starting line each day in 10 Wisconsin communities. Representing 36 states and 13 countries, racers compete for more than $175,000 in cash and merchandise before an estimated 155,000 passionate spectators.
The 2016 schedule features 10 race events, including two new venues and two dates on the coveted USA Cycling Pro Road Tour:

A phenomenal family-friendly event, spectators can expect roughly eight hours of high-energy racing daily with speeds topping 35 mph during the Pro races, along with food and drink, entertainment, specials guests such as Alice in Dairyland, and free low-fat chocolate milk from the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
