Nikiya Dodd was an alderwoman representing Milwaukee’s fifth district. She was elected in a 2018 special election and re-elected in 2020. She resigned in November 2022.
She was formerly a Wisconsin State Senator, and before that a member of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors.
Her county board seat was filled by Khalif Rainey who also later joined the council.
