833 East is an office building in downtown Milwaukee. Located at 833 E. Michigan St., the project is being developed by Irgens Development Partners.

The building is be 18-stories tall. As of June 18th, 2014, Irgens has leased 168,155 square-feet of space, with 358,017 total in the project. Construction costs for the building are estimated to total $101.51 million.

The building architect is Kahler Slater with CG Schmidt having served as the general contractor.

The project held a groundbreaking on June 18th, 2014, but construction was already underway with demolition of the existing building on the site. Prior to the project, the building was a one-story garage for U.S. Bank.

Irgens originally pursued a TIF district from the City of Milwaukee, but the city refused.

Each floor is to be 26,000 square feet. It will have a skywalk connection to the U.S. Bank Center.

Irgens expects the building to get LEED Silver certification.

The building was completed in March of 2016.

In August of 2015 it was announced that Noble Chef Hospitality‘s Rare Steakhouse would open in the first floor of the building.
