By - Nov 24th, 2020 04:31 pm

MILWAUKEE (November 24, 2020) – Mauricio Ramirez, Milwaukee muralist, began painting a colorful, abstract work in the BMO Tower Tenant Commons, an interior space that connects 770 and 790 N. Water Street.

The 12×30-foot mural that Ramirez has begun painting will be in the same area where a new FIDDLEHEADS Cafe will open in 2021. Ramirez has painted numerous public artworks around the city. The mural is expected to be completed later this week. “Our projects and buildings are designed with great care for efficiency and aesthetics in the workplace. But they also reflect the energy and diversity of our workforce and all people that visit. That’s why we have already and continue to add art to the communities we are a part of.” said Mark Irgens, CEO/Manager for Irgens.

Photographers, still and video, are invited to make arrangements to document the ongoing installation. Please contact Steve Palec to be escorted to the area. “Aside from FIDDLEHEADS, we are looking at activating that space as well as the BMO retail space, the bank space and even the lower levels to create a vibrancy for the entire complex,” said Steve Palec, Chief Marketing Officer for Irgens.
