Gabrielle Barriere

Gabrielle Barriere is a student journalist intern for Urban Milwaukee. Approaching the end of her senior year at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she has gained great interest in writing human interest features and covering events, as well as digital media production.

Barriere has had various published articles featured on Media Milwaukee, a student-powered news site for UWM. She also has a great understanding of many digital programs ranging from audio, video, photo and design. She aspires to form her own unique form of journalism merging both written word and art, and is excited to bring that flair to Urban Milwaukee.
