“Anyone can make a great cocktail with a full bar and a week to plan,” says Central Standard Craft Distillery co-founder Evan Hughes. “Let’s see how folks do with a ticking clock, four mandatory mystery ingredients and a panel of Milwaukee’s best drinkers judging them.”

That’s what will happen at “86’d: Battle of the Bartenders,” a contest created by Central Standard, which you might call the “Chopped” for cocktail mixologists, featuring our city’s most creative bartenders. Who will win the crown as Milwaukee’s #1 most-creative mixologist?

On February 25th at 7 p.m., shake up your Monday routine with two tickets to “86’d: Battle of the Bartenders” at Marcus Center’s Vogel Hall. And even better, you can do it in style: Urban Milwaukee has teamed up with Central Standard to provide new members with two VIP tickets — worth $100 — that aren’t even available for purchase.

VIP attendees will be seated in the spacious balcony at Vogel Hall with some of the best views of the competition. Each ticket comes with a “welcome” cocktail to get the party started, and a “make-you-own” take-home Central Standard Craft Distillery Bloody Mary kit with custom pint glass for when your Tuesday’s looking, well, not as fun. This event is where cocktails, creativity and comedy collide.
