Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still a ton to do around the city! Urban Milwaukee has tickets to four diverse upcoming events that we want to give you. That’s right, if you’re an Urban Milwaukee member, you can pick your upcoming show, on us. It’s first come first served, so we recommend you act quick.
Urban Milwaukee is home to the city’s only news-site membership program, and we are offering a variety of tickets to new members. If you sign-up to become a member today, we’ll give you two tickets to the event of your choice, while supplies last.

- Marcus Performing Arts Center’s “That Golden Girls Show! A Puppet Parody”: This show will take you back to that sassy Miami house in 1985 that parodies classic Golden Girls moments, but this time…with puppets! Get set for an evening of cheesecake, laughter, jazzercise, shoulder pads, and the elegant art of the quick-witted put down. Devoted fans will fondly remember our four girls from Miami, and for the first-timers, this will be a joyful introduction to the brilliance of that television series. Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall – October 26th – 7:30 p.m. – $96 value.

- Marcus Performing Arts Center’s “One Night in Memphis”: A rocking concert tribute to legendary Sun Records recording artists Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley. Over 90 minutes of rockabilly, country, gospel and pure 1950’s rock and roll music performed live and backed by an authentic and energetic rockabilly backup band. Created and directed by John Mueller, this musical has met with sell-out shows and audience standing ovations. All songs are performed live without tracks and guaranteed to get any audience rocking and rolling! Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall – November 1st – 7:30 p.m. – $96 value.

- Early Music Now’s “Soundscape: Leonardo da Vinci”: Leonardo da Vinci is universally considered a Renaissance genius. On the 500th anniversary of his death, this vocal and instrumental program creates a vivid picture of the music and sounds that surrounded and shaped Leonardo and his time. Grace Lutheran Church – November 9th – 5 p.m. – $58 value.

- Frankly Music’s “A Violin’s Life, Vol. 3”: Another musical deep dive into the fascinating legacy of a storied community treasure. Returning audience favorites Adam Neiman, piano, and Nicholas Canellakis, cello, join Frank Almond in celebration of the Lipiński Stradivarius. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church – November 11th – 7 p.m. – $70 value.
