Don Walker was a sports business reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. A graduate of Marquette University, Walker passed away unexpectedly on May 22nd, 2015, he was 62.
In his later years with the paper, Walker also covered the City Hall beat. Walker had worked at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since 1978 (pre-merger he was with the Journal).
Walker took a voluntary buyout from Journal Communications in 2014, but stayed on through a fellowship from the Marquette University Law School’s Sheldon B. Lubar Fund for Public Policy Research. During this time he provided active coverage of proposed new arena for the Milwaukee Bucks.
