4th Annual Housing Resource Fair is Saturday

Saturday, November 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at North Division High School, 1011 W. Center St.

Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II invites residents to participate in the 4th Annual Housing Resource Fair event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Saturday, November 15) at North Division High School, 1011 W. Center St. The event – co-sponsored by Alderman Stamper, Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs and Alderman Willie C. Wade – will provide residents with information on home financing, home repairs and foreclosure prevention.

The event will feature several workshops, including Resources for the Elderly at 10:30 a.m., Home Repair & Resources for Neighborhoods at 11:30 a.m. and Buying City Property & Accessing Resources to Help with Renovation at 1:00 p.m.

Representatives from various organizations will be on hand to answer questions and assist attendees.

Organizations invited to attend include NACA, ACTS Housing, Department of Neighborhood Services, Me2 Energy Efficiency Program, Safe & Sound, Realty Among FRIENDS, City Real Estate, WestCare Wisconsin Harambee Community Center, Community Warehouse, Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council, Rebuilding Together Milwaukee, Office of the City Treasurer, US Bank, Neighborhood Improvement Development Corp., Housing Resources, Inc., Habitat for Humanity, City of Milwaukee Health Department, Take Root Milwaukee, Social Development Commission, STRONG Neighborhoods Program, Sherman Park Improvement District, Select Milwaukee, Interfaith of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County Department on Aging.
