MILWAUKEE — Well-respected Milwaukee-based labor and employment attorney Sara Geenen announced today she has earned the endorsements of more than 50 judges and elected officials in her campaign for Court of Appeals Judge in District 1.

“I worked with Sara Geenen in our law practice, and she’s not only a top-notch lawyer, she’s a top-notch human and a brilliant thinker,” said Milwaukee County Judge Jack Davila. “Sara would be a perfect fit for the Court of Appeals as someone who will make sure to interpret the law fairly and justly.”

“Our Appeals Court needs to be protected from becoming as partisan as our Wisconsin Supreme Court,” said former Appeals Court Judge Lori Kornblum. “Sara Geenen is the best choice. She’s a breath of fresh air and modest judicial thinking who will ensure the Court of Appeals in District 1 will uphold the law and protect our constitutional rights.”

“I’m running because our courts are under assault from right-wing politicians who want to undermining our constitutional freedoms, like the right of women to make their own reproductive health decisions,” said Sara Geenen. “I appreciate the support of all of these illustrious leaders as we work to make the court less partisan and more focused on keeping us safe and upholding our rights.”
