“Tonight’s ruling defies common sense. Thousands of Wisconsin seniors who live alone now have an unnecessary and unfair choice to make. They either violate the governor’s stay-at-home order and leave their homes to find a witness — or know their ballot will not be counted,” said Marlene Ott, President of the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans. “This is not democracy in action.”
