Historic building sold by developer Joshua Jeffers to Charles Bailey in September 2019.

A redevelopment that would add a five-story structure to the top of the building was proposed in March 2019 by Joca Properties. The building would have been converted into a hotel as part of the proposal. Those plans were not approved by the Historic Preservation Commission and the addition was reduced to three stories and ultimately one story before being approved in August 2019.
