Milwaukee, July 5th, 2017 – Colliers International | Wisconsin announces the sale and closing of 600 N. Broadway in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The property is a 23,796 square foot office building that sits prominently on the visible corner of Broadway and Michigan Streets in the heart of downtown. The building is located in the East Side Commercial Historic District along the Streetcar Phase I route with tracks recently installed on Broadway. The Property was sold by 600 North Broadway Partners, LLC to 600 North Broadway, LLC, an affiliate of J. Jeffers & Co, for $1,550,000. J. Jeffers’ portfolio also includes investments in the historic Mitchell and Mackie buildings which are located nearby on Michigan Street. Anchor tenants in the 600 N. Broadway building include law firm End, Hierseman & Crain LLC, Mahler Enterprises and investment firm Bronfman E.L. Rothschild, L.P.
Tom Shepherd and Cory Sovine of Colliers International | Wisconsin represented the Seller in the sale. Bruce Westling of NAI MLG Commercial represented the Buyer.
“This acquisition is yet one more example of investment along the future Milwaukee Streetcar route by J. Jeffers & Co. The rehabs of the Mitchell and Mackie Buildings respectively are nearing completion while the surface parking lot south of the Mackie is poised for development,” said Bruce Westling of NAI MLG Commercial.
