Former Wisconsin Avenue School proposed for conversion to a 23-room hotel by developer Rick Wiegand. The hotel would be known as the Ambassador Suites.

The Ambassador Suites would be connected with the City Campus office complex.

Wiegand was the only respondent to a request-for-proposals to acquire the site in the summer of 2017. He closed on the transaction in December 2017.
