MILWAUKEE, WI (July 6, 2022) – The final weekend of Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance continues Thursday, July 7 through Saturday, July 9. Headliners include Rod Stewart with special guest Cheap Trick on Thursday, July 7, Backstreet Boys on Friday, July 8, and Thomas Rhett with special guests Ryan Hurd and Rhett Akins on Saturday, July 9 all at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Other festival headliners include The Black Crowes, Charli XCX, Halestorm, Portugal. The Man, Death Cab for Cutie, Russell Dickerson, Boys II Men, The Pretty Reckless, The Cult, for KING & COUNTRY and many more.

On the last day of Summerfest, Saturday July 9, it’s the Summerfest BIG WIN presented by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino at the Miller Lite Oasis Stage. Starting at 4:00 p.m., five lucky winners will have a chance to win $1 million dollars and a guaranteed share of $10,000! The first 30,000 patrons arriving through the gates on Saturday, July 9, 2022, will receive an admission ticket for Summerfest 2023 AND a BIG WIN entry ticket. To participate in the BIG WIN, simply drop the perforated BIG WIN entry ticket in a specially marked bin inside the Summerfest Mid Gate between the hours of noon and 3:00 p.m. on July 9th, 2022, and be present at 4:00 p.m. to participate in the drawing.  To learn more, visit www.summerfest.com/fan-appreciation.

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF), producer of Summerfest, continues to fulfill its nonprofit mission of bringing the community together and providing a showcase for performing arts, activities, and recreation to the public, through music and special events.

Admission promotions for Weekend 3 include:

  • Silgan Community Food Drive on July 7. The first 2,000 patrons who arrive between Noon – 3:00 p.m. and donate three (3) non-perishable food items will receive one (1) FREE admission ticket, valid for the day and time of the promotion only. Canned fruits and vegetables are especially appreciated, with all donations benefitting Hunger Task Force.
  • Direct Supply Seniorfest Day on July 7. All patrons ages 60+ will be admitted for FREE when they present their ID at the designated turnstile at any gate. Admitted seniors will also receive a voucher for $2 off a food or non-alcoholic beverage purchase over $10. In addition, all wheelchairs will be provided free of charge to seniors between Noon – 4:00 p.m. while supplies last.
  • Show Your College Pride Day with OnMilwaukee, CW18, and My24 Milwaukee on July 8. All patrons who arrive between Noon – 3:00 p.m. wearing a shirt or hat representing a participating college or university, or present their High School I.D, will receive one (1) FREE admission ticket. Participating school include:
  • Fan Appreciation Day with Potawatomi Hotel & Casino on July 9. All patrons arriving between Noon – 3:00 p.m. will be admitted FREE. Plus, the first 30,000 patrons arriving through the gates will receive one (1) free general admission ticket for Summerfest 2023.

Also taking place during Summerfest Weekend 3:

  • Amazon Prime Video “The Terminal List” on site activation July 7-9, in conjunction with the new release starring Chris Pratt as James Reece. Fans are invited to test their memory at the booth to win prizes.  Note:  Military members have priority while waiting in line, in addition to opportunities to win meet/greet passes for Summerfest headliners.
  • Stop by the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard on Friday, July 8 for Latin Music Day presented by Advocate Aurora Health Care with support from Telemundo Wisconsin. Enjoy Latin Tropical music and Salsa music from Clave y Afinque, Making Movies, and Gilberto Santa Rosa. Music starts at 2:00 p.m.
  • Alumni Charity Challenge on Friday, July 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Gruber Law Offices SportsZone.  Alumni players from the following schools will reunite to raise money for charity – Marquette University Golden Eagles, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix, University of Wisconsin–Madison Badgers, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers.
  • Join Wheel & Sprocket for test rides on July 9 in Urban Park. Electric bike test rides, including bikes from Serial 1 will be provided.

The Summerfest Shuttle will continue July 7-9 – it offers a streamlined and affordable option to get to Summerfest. There are five-routes that will run continuously starting daily at 5:00 p.m. Round-trip fare is $15. Riders are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets on the Summerfest Store.
