The Best Ride to the Wisconsin State Fair

The Best Ride to the Wisconsin State Fair

Traffic and parking are as easy as pie when you ride the bus to Wisconsin State Fair! Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) provides several choices for an easy, convenient and economical ride that will get you straight to the gate. Freeway Flyers and Shuttles operate every day of the Fair, from Thursday, August 6 to Sunday, August 16, 2015. MCTS local services also provide convenient ways to get to and from the Fair, with stops near State Fair Park entrances. Changes for this year – Look closely at park-ride lot information. FREEWAY FLYER SERVICE Freeway Flyers operate every day of the Fair from 7:30 am until one half-hour after the Fair closes. The last trip leaves the Fair shortly after the Fair closes. Parking is free at park-ride lots. Flyer service operates between the following park-ride lots and the State Fair Transit Center at Gate 4: Half-hour service: The following Flyers operate roughly every 30 minutes. College – (Route 40) College Ave, at I-94 (both lots north and south of College) Whitnall/Hales Corners – (Route 43) I-43, east of S. 108th St. Brown Deer East – (Route 49) Brown Deer Rd., west of I-43 Loomis – (Route 46) Loomis Rd., north of I-894 and south of Coldspring Rd. FREEWAY FLYER FARE Round-trip adult fare is $6.50 or $4.70 when paying with an M•CARD. SHUTTLE SERVICE Shuttle service to Wisconsin State Fair operates from the Burleigh/Mayfair Collection (just north of Burleigh Street, east of US Hwy 45 and at 114th Street).
