Milwaukee Public Market Announces Frostfest
Milwaukee, Wisconsin – February 11, 2026 – The Milwaukee Public Market invites the community to bundle up and embrace winter at Frostfest, a new outdoor winter event designed to encourage connection, celebrate the season, and activate one of Milwaukee’s most dynamic public spaces. This free event will take place Saturday, Feb. 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Riverwalk Commons, located beneath I-794 across from the Milwaukee Public Market, 423 N Water St.
Frostfest will feature local rock bands. Taxmen, a Beatles-inspired cover band, will perform at 3 p.m., followed by Torcado at 4:30 p.m. and Mas Verde at 6 p.m.
The Shipping Container Bar will serve winter-inspired beverages and serve Foltz Family Market brats during the event. Net proceeds from brat sales will be donated directly to Hunger Task Force.
“Frostfest reflects our continued commitment to creating creative, welcoming experiences year-round,” said Paul Schwartz, executive director of the Milwaukee Public Market and Business Improvement District 2. “By activating Riverwalk Commons with music, food, and winter activities, we’re expanding how people experience our public spaces during the winter months while supporting an important cause. We’re excited to introduce another free, outdoor event that brings people together and adds to the Market’s growing lineup of seasonal experiences.”
Frostfest is made possible with support from Educators Credit Union, 333 Water, Hive Wellness & Social, and Record-A-Hit Entertainment, a full-service special event company specializing in corporate events, weddings, and more.
