Office building complex proposed for conversion into The Future Food Center by FaB Wisconsin. The remaining space in the complex would be used for offices. Storefronts along N. 27th St. would be maintained.
The facility was built as a hospital and a theater. It was later used as an office building by Milwaukee County. Developer Rick Wiegand acquired the complex in 2015.
Wiegand is developing the Ambassador Suites hotel immediately to the south in the former Wisconsin Avenue School.
