Milwaukee Crime Stoppers pays $11,000 reward to anonymous tipster who helped police arrest wanted homicide suspect
Milwaukee – The Milwaukee Crime Stoppers Board of Directors voted to pay out the existing $11,000 reward that was created to help find the suspect accused of killing Krystal Tucker.
On February 10, 2022, 31-year-old Tucker was killed in a shooting outside of an establishment on 524. N Water Street after the suspect Jordan M. Tate was denied entry. Two others were also injured in that shooting.
“In this instance, a tip to Crime Stoppers was the key piece of information that investigators needed to locate the suspect and bring him to justice. This is a great example of the community and police working together to make our city safer. The Milwaukee Police Department is committed to collaborating with Crime Stoppers and our community to solve crime and bring closure to the victims that have been impacted by crime,” said Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman.
The tipster’s identity isn’t known and won’t be known. They must call the tip line and provide the code given at the time of their original call in order to claim the money. Once the tipster does this, they can pick up the reward at an undisclosed location.

This case is one of 7 homicide arrests made and 11 fugitives caught by Milwaukee Police after receiving an anonymous tip through a phone call or our P3 Tips App. There has been a total of 51 arrests since October 2019. The board has approved nearly $34,000.00 in reward money has been approved to reward tipsters.
Crime Stoppers automatically rewards a tipster $1,000 for a homicide arrest. Tucker’s loved ones added an additional $10,000.
