TOWN OF BROOKFIELD, Wis. – The 2017 holiday shopping season marks an important milestone for the metro Milwaukee area’s newest lifestyle center – The Corners of Brookfield. As the first new shopping center to open in Southeast Wisconsin in more than a decade, the lifestyle center is ensuring its holiday experience will not disappoint by offering a community tree lighting ceremony, live reindeer, livestream video of the North Pole and an all new twist to the typical Black Friday shopping experience.

“Our goal is to be a place of community and gathering over the holidays while utilizing our unique attributes of being an outdoor center with digital attractions to create a holiday experience like none other,” said Chelsea Roessler, marketing manager at The Corners. “We are the new place in town this holiday season and we want to be sure shoppers of all ages and interests feel the holiday spirit and have a joyful time when they shop this season.”

The countdown to the official Market Square tree lighting will begin at 6:15 p.m.

The following week, The Corners will be closed on Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) to allow retailers and staff to enjoy the holiday with family and friends. The Center will reopen on Friday, Nov. 24 at 9 a.m.* with a unique “Black Friday” experience, complete with free hot beverages and sweet treats in a luxury outdoor lounge area in Market Square (while supplies last), live music by the Windy Hill Brass Duo and other surprises and delights throughout the day. All Black Friday retailer promotions and deals will be listed on The Corners website and social media channels.
