The Community Development Grants Administration of the City of Milwaukee  will conduct a public hearing regarding its Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus grant #23-01 project for 1) Isolation and Quarantine Facilities; 2) Food Banks; 3) Mental Health; 4) Non-Congregate Sheltering; and, 5) Vaccination Sites. The public is invited to attend to receive an update and provide input on the project activities and progress to date.

The agenda for the public hearing is as follows:

  1. Update on the status of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects: 1) Isolation and Quarantine Facilities; 2) Food Banks; 3) Mental Health; 4) Non-Congregate Sheltering; and, 5) Vaccination Sites.
  2. Update on the status of any residential and/or business displacement and relocation assistance activities as a result of the CDBG project.
  3. Review of housing needs related to grant #23-01.
  4. Public input and feedback from community residents on the CDBG project activities including:              1) Isolation and Quarantine Facilities; 2) Food Banks; 3) Mental Health; 4) Non-Congregate Sheltering; and, 5) Vaccination Sites.
  5. Other related topics.

Residents of the City of Milwaukee are encouraged to attend, especially residents with low to moderate incomes.
