Randall D. Crocker, President and CEO of von Briesen & Roper, s.c., announced that 14 attorneys formerly of the law firm Weiss Berzowski LLP, have joined von Briesen & Roper, s.c. Today von Briesen employs 153 attorneys statewide. Weiss Berzowski LLP ceased operations effective November 30, 2016.

Nancy M. Bonniwell is a Shareholder in the Delafield and Milwaukee offices. She focuses her practice on estate, business succession and marital property planning, estate administration and business law. Bonniwell is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® (Trusts and Estates 2012-2017) and was the recipient of the Outstanding Advisor of the Year Award from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation in 2014. She was recognized as one of the Wisconsin Law Journal’s “Women in the Law” and is a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation.
Bonniwell is Chair of the Town of Delafield Board of Appeals and a member of the Waukesha County Board of Adjustment. She serves on the board of directors of ProHealth Care Foundation and is a director and member of the executive board of Tall Pines Conservancy. She is a member of the Planned Giving Council of Children’s Hospital and Health System and the Advisory Board of Waukesha County Community Foundation. She is a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Association for Women Lawyers, Professional Dimensions, TEMPO Waukesha, and the Waukesha County Estate Planning Council.
Bonniwell received a J.D. from the University of North Dakota Law School and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin (with honors). She resides in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
Ann K. Chandler is a Shareholder in the Milwaukee office. She focuses her practice on representing shopping centers, office parks and residential developers in the acquisition, financing, development and leasing of real estate property.
Ann is a frequent presenter of continuing legal education seminars on the topics of commercial leasing, business law and real estate licensing law. She taught Real Estate Transactions at the University of Wisconsin Law School and was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Central Florida and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Chandler is a member of the State Bars of Wisconsin and Florida, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Waukesha County Bar Association.
Chandler received a J.D. from Marquette University Law School and a B.A. from Marquette University and attended the University of Florida. She resides in Hartland, Wisconsin.
Adam R. Finkel is an Associate in the Milwaukee office. He focuses his practice on business disputes and commercial litigation.
Finkel is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin where he also serves as the Chair of their Lawyer Referral and Information Services Committee. Foley is President of the Board of Directors for Community Projects for Seniors, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of older adults by providing activities and meals to individuals living in low-income housing. He is also a volunteer guardian through the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee’s GAIN project.
