MILWAUKEE (December 12, 2024) Visit Milwaukee and Sports Milwaukee are excited to announce the continuation of its partnership with the Milwaukee Wave as the presenting sponsor of the “Tidal Town” student section for the 2024-25 indoor soccer season. This collaboration, entering its second year, aims to enhance the fan experience at Milwaukee Wave home games while elevating Milwaukee’s brand through the Wave’s social and broadcast channels.

As part of this sponsorship, the Tidal Town section will once again offer local college students free admission to Milwaukee Wave home games. Students can redeem their free tickets throughout the season here. Milwaukee Wave games during the 2024-25 season will be broadcast on Twitch and the CBS Sports Golazo Network.

“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with ROC Ventures and continue to bring this unique experience to Milwaukee Wave fans,” said Joshua Albrecht, Visit Milwaukee’s chief marketing officer. “The Tidal Town section not only amplifies the energy inside the arena but also provides a platform to connect with students and showcase the vibrancy of Milwaukee as a destination.”

The partnership also includes interactive opportunities for fans, including the ‘Visit Milwaukee Big Shot’, an in-game activation at 12 home games where winners will receive a Visit Milwaukee prize pack. In addition to this, Visit Milwaukee will air a 30-second video advertisement during commercial breaks at all 12 Milwaukee Wave home games.

“We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Visit Milwaukee and Sports Milwaukee in bringing the Tidal Town student section back for another season,” said Michael Zimmerman, owner of the Milwaukee Wave. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to making Milwaukee a vibrant hub for sports and entertainment while giving college students the chance to experience the excitement of Wave soccer. Together, we’re not just enhancing game days but also showcasing the best of what our city has to offer.”

With a growing number of out-of-town visitors attending sporting events during their trips to Milwaukee, this initiative aligns perfectly with Visit Milwaukee’s mission to promote the city as a premier destination. In 2023, more than 22 percent of Milwaukee’s overnight visitors attended a sporting event. This partnership reflects the shared commitment of Visit Milwaukee, Sports Milwaukee, and the Milwaukee Wave to enhance the entertainment landscape of Milwaukee and provide memorable experiences for fans and visitors alike.
