Vice Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Marquette University women’s basketball sophomore guard Halle Vice earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office announced Monday.

Vice averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists last week for MU.

The Bettendorf, Iowa native had a game-high 20 points and eight rebounds against Villanova on Sunday while shooting 90 percent form the floor for her best shooting clip of her career. Vice had 13 points, six rebounds and a career-high four steals at Xavier on Wednesday.

Vice shot 66.7 percent (14-of-21) from the floor for the week.

Marquette returns to action on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. CT against St. John’s at the Al McGuire Center.
