By - Aug 20th, 2025 04:11 pm

Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee will host the 147th General Conference and Exhibition of the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) this weekend. Army and Air National Guard officers from all 50 states, three territories, and the District of Columbia will gather in Milwaukee August 22-25, 2025, to network, set their legislative agenda, and hear from America’s civilian and military leaders.

Statement by National President Darryl Morin:

“We welcome the conference attendees to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We want to assure everyone in southeastern Wisconsin that this conference is not related to an immigration enforcement action. The presence of uniformed personnel in the city is solely for the purposes of the conference, which was scheduled well over a year ago. Community members should not be concerned that their presence is part of any immigration enforcement action.”
