Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Completes FPC Background Investigation
Milwaukee, WI (January 7, 2021) On Wednesday, December 14, the City of Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission requested that the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office conduct an independent background investigation as part of the confirmation process for Commissioner-designee Amanda Avalos. The Sheriff’s Office conducted a standard law enforcement background investigation and, on Wednesday, January 6, submitted the completed investigative file to the Fire and Police Commission.
