League of Women Voters Publishes VOTE411 Spring Election Voter Guide
MILWAUKEE, WI – The League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County launched its VOTE411.org voter guide for the Spring Election.
This one-stop shop for statewide election information has tools– in both English and Spanish– to help voters navigate the voting process. These include candidate information, voter registration tools, polling place information, and other helpful Election Day resources, including links to candidate forums.
In addition to information about candidates for local office in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties, The VOTE411.org voter guide also features information about state races for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice, Court of Appeals Judge District 1, the Special Election for Senate District 8, and the Special Primary Election for Milwaukee County Supervisor District 14.
“Decisions made at the local and judicial levels can directly impact ourselves and our communities,” Creer stressed. “With our nonpartisan VOTE411.org voter guide, voters can learn more about the responsibilities of these offices and each candidate’s values and be well-prepared to make an informed decision on election day.”
The League of Women Voters encourages voters to visit VOTE411.org to make a voting plan so they are prepared to vote confidently on April 4 whether they choose to vote absentee prior to the election or in person on election day. Voters may request an absentee ballot at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/VoteAbsentee.
In addition to VOTE411, the League encourages active participation in government by conducting voter registration drives and candidate forums, get-out-the-vote social media messaging, and educational public forums on critical public policy issues.
