FREE Sunday Family Fun Days Announced for Northwestern Mutual Community Park for 2025 Season

MILWAUKEE, WI (April 16, 2025)- Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) and Northwestern Mutual, through its Foundation, announced details for this year’s Northwestern Mutual FREE Sunday Family Fun Days with MKE with Kids at the Northwestern Mutual Community Park. Dates for the popular series are June 8, July 13, August 3, and September 7, 2025.

FREE Sunday Family Fun Days will take place from 10:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. at the Northwestern Mutual Community Park, located inside Henry Maier Festival Park. The events offer attendees access to family-friendly programming, food and drink options, and interactive activities, along with performances and activities from various community partners. The theme and schedule for each FREE Sunday Family Fun Day in the series is as follows:

  • June 8 – Summerfest theme, with activities and programming from Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, TBEY Arts Center, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Club SciKidz, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Discovery World, Wellpoint Care Network, Pretty Girls Are Educated, and more.
  • July 13 – Family Health and Wellness theme, with activities and programming from Milwaukee Kickers, Playworks, Milwaukee Flyers, American Cancer Society, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, TBEY Arts Center, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Wellpoint Care Network, Pretty Girls Are Educated, and more.
  • August 3 – STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) theme, with activities and programming from Club SciKidz, STEAM Milwaukee, UWM Planetarium, Hi, Tech, Gearbox Labs, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, TBEY Arts Center, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Wellpoint Care Network, Pretty Girls Are Educated, and more.
  • September 7 – Performing Arts theme, with activities and programming from TBEY Arts Center, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Studio K Flamenco, Skylight Music Theatre, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, Wellpoint Care Network, Hi, Tech, Pretty Girls Are Educated, and more.

Food and beverage options will be available from a wide variety of vendors during each FREE Sunday Family Fun Day including Bobalou Stuffed Gourmet Pretzels & Soft Frozen Lemonade, Fazio’s Gourmet Popcorn Wagon, Pete Pops, Sil’s Mini Donuts & Coffee, Jamba Juice, and Street-ZA Pizza.

Free parking is available in Lot G, located south of the Henry Maier Festival Park Mid-Gate, as well as designated bike parking.

The Northwestern Mutual Community Park is open on non-event days to the public from 10:00 a.m. – dusk, offering inclusive and accessible play for children of all abilities. The Park is also open to attendees of special events throughout the festival season including Summerfest, ethnic and cultural festivals, and more.
