Dan Adams Vows to Take on the Status Quo
Yesterday morning, Dan Adams submitted 644 nominating signatures to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board.
June 3, 2014 – – Milwaukee, Wisconsin – – Yesterday morning, Dan Adams submitted 644 nominating signatures to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board—securing his place on the ballot for the Democratic primary election in the 19th Assembly District on August 12. Adams made the following statement regarding the race:
The political situation in Madison is poisoned by partisan polarization. This polarization has been created by career politicians who see politics as a game, not a means of improving the lives of regular people. During the last few years, Wisconsin has endured a political civil war and now needs to rebuild and move forward. In order to ensure a promising educational, economic, and social future for Milwaukee, representatives must be willing to reach across the aisle and do what is best for our city, rather than being consumed by partisan rhetoric. During the next ten weeks, I will continue to reach out to all voters in the district and share my optimistic view of Milwaukee’s future.
This Thursday, Adams will participate in the East Side Neighborhood Associations Forum, moderated by Urban Milwaukee editor Bruce Murphy. The forum will take place at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (2618 North Hackett Avenue) on June 5, 2014 at 5:30PM.
