June 6, 2014 – – Milwaukee, Wisconsin – – Last night, Dan Adams participated in the East Side Neighborhood Associations Forum, moderated by Urban Milwaukee editor Bruce Murphy.

Four candidates running in the Democratic primary election in the 19th Assembly District on August 12 answered questions on topics including education, property taxes and public transportation. Although the candidates agreed on some issues, Adams demonstrated the bold leadership style that he plans to bring to the State Legislature.

One observer, former communications director for Mayor John Norquist, Steve Filmanowicz, offered the following comment on the forum:

“I really appreciated Dan’s stance in favor of more good schools in Milwaukee, however they are funded. Of the candidates at the forum, he seemed most focused on ensuring that we city parents have attractive options for educating our school-age children right here and right now.”
