From the 1981 Landmarks Commission/Department of City Development report… The house on Pleasant Street was built in 1901. A two-story frame structure, it is small in scale, but the facade is surmounted by a full order Ionic portico of exacting detail and colossal proportions. Buemming’s other significant extant work in the Neo-Classical style is the Graham House at 3112 West McKinley Boulevard. He apparently lived in the Pleasant Street home for about ten years, as the city directory of 1911 lists his residence as Prospect Avenue.
