Doors Open to include several 6th District locations

Doors Open Milwaukee, a public celebration of Milwaukee’s neighborhoods, architecture, and history featuring more than 160 locations throughout the metro area, takes place this weekend on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28. Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs invites Doors Open guests to visit one of the several 6th District locations being highlighted this year.

“The 6th District is filled with a variety of amazing venues and I am glad a growing number of them are going to be showcased during Doors Open Milwaukee. I hope those participating in Doors Open take the chance to view everything the 6th District has to offer,” Alderwoman Coggs said.

6th District locations open to the public this weekend include: Birdsong’s, She Slangs Wood, Sanger House Gardens, Reflo, Literary Services of Wisconsin, Honeybee Sage Wellness and Apothecary Café, Gathering Place Brewing Company, Firehouse Station 21, Dead Bird Brewing, Bronzeville Center for the Arts, 5 Points Art Gallery + Studios, and America’s Black Holocaust Museum.
