Alderman Spiker invites residents to town halls focused on the 2025 City Budget
13th District Alderman Scott Spiker will be hosting two town hall meetings next week that will serve as an opportunity for area residents to learn more about the Mayor’s proposed 2025 city budget, and ask questions related to the budget process.
The first town hall meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 15 at 6 p.m. at Morgandale Elementary, 3635 S. 17th St. The second town hall will take place on Thursday, October 17 at 6 p.m. at Burdick School, 4348 S. Griffin Ave. Both meetings will feature a presentation from Budget Director Nik Kovac who will also be available to answer questions following the presentation.“Public input is a key part of the budget process, and as such I would encourage district residents to attend one of next week’s town hall meetings to learn more and ask any and every question they have related to our city’s finances,” said Alderman Spiker.
