The exhibit will include ofrendas displaying the loved ones of local, regional, and international artists who have passed away. Latino Arts Gallery wraps up the season with the exploration of the life and relationship of artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Diego Y Frida: A Smile Halfway through the Journey will include a collection of photographs from the Mexican Consulate of Milwaukee as well as a selection of works from local artists inspired by Kahlo and Rivera.

The Auditorium at Latino Arts will journey through Mexico’s music, time and place with the traditional music of Tlan – Huicani, in their indigenous language of Nahuatl. Latino Arts also keeps things local this fall with Cache MKE. The Latin Music Ensemble has been performing in the Midwest for over 20 years and will thrill the audience with a special holiday performance, Cache Navideño, which will feature Latin American roots and flair!
