MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele released the following statement about the sale of the Milwaukee Bucks.
“As County Executive, this is great news for the city and the county. When Senator Kohl told me earlier today about the sale, I thanked him for his unwavering commitment to Milwaukee. As a Senator, citizen and leader he has done so much for this community. I remain inspired by his commitment to public service and citizenship, in the best sense of the word.
Lastly, as a long time Bucks season ticket holder, I am looking forward to watching the new owners put their stamp on the Bucks franchise.”
