Construction of the future home of the State of Wisconsin Department of Children and Families is moving along. Klein Development Inc. is building the $10 million office building on a formerly city-owned vacant lot on the southeast the corner of N. 27th St. and Wisconsin Ave.  When finished the building will be leased to the state and the department will move all of their Milwaukee area operations into the building. The photos show the interior staircase, the metal framework going up, and the overall structure progressing.
