WisDems Statement on the Passing of Ed Garvey

MADISON – The following is the statement of Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair Martha Laning on the passing of progressive leader and icon Ed Garvey:

“We are saddened by the loss of Ed Garvey, who was not only a leader in the progressive movement but a dear friend to many. Ed was a true progressive who fought tirelessly for everyday Wisconsinites and worked to advance progressive causes. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.”
