Ryan Marks Completes Formation of New Leadership Team
MILWAUKEE — Landmark Healthcare Facilities LLC today announced the appointment of Ryan Marks as the company’s president and chief operating officer.
Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Landmark is a national leader in the full-service development, ownership and management of the complete range of outpatient buildings. As president and chief operating officer, Marks will oversee the company’s ongoing growth and operations, prioritizing the development and construction of new projects and expanding healthcare partnerships nationwide.
During the five-year period before he joined Landmark, Marks served as vice president for facility planning and development at Froedtert ThedaCare Health, Inc. He managed a staff of 175 employees responsible for key areas of Froedtert ThedaCare, including facility operations and maintenance, campus planning, design and construction, real estate development and leasing, capital planning, real estate strategies, energy and utility operations and sustainability across the system’s 18 hospitals, six surgery centers and more than 400 healthcare sites in eastern Wisconsin.
Landmark is an employee-owned and employee-managed company. Five senior officers of Landmark, including chairman and CEO Deeni Taylor and executive chairman Joe Checota, own and manage Landmark. Landmark’s current leadership team has successfully developed more than 250 outpatient buildings in 38 states. The buildings range in value from $10 million to $150 million.
In making today’s announcement, Deeni Taylor, the chairman and CEO of Landmark, said, “We are proud to welcome Ryan Marks as the president and COO of Landmark. Joe Checota, the founder, former chairman and CEO, and current executive chairman of Landmark, said, “The appointment of Ryan Marks as president and COO of Landmark completes the formation of our successor leadership team. Deeni Taylor, a national leader in the development of healthcare facilities, became our new chairman and CEO two years ago, and Dan Brandt, the former senior vice president of commercial real estate at Old National Bank, became our EVP for finance and chief financial officer one year ago.”
President and COO Ryan Marks and EVP for finance and CFO Dan Brandt will report to chairman and CEO Deeni Taylor. Executive chairman Joe Checota will remain an active participant in the sales and development program of Landmark for the foreseeable future.
