‘WisBiz: The Show’ features Brad Bodden of Wisconsin Investment Partners angel network; coming events

MADISON, Wis. – In the latest episode of “WisBusiness.com: The Show,” Brad Bodden of Wisconsin Investment Partners talks about WIP, its record of investments over time and how the angel network views the proposal for a state-levered $75 million Wisconsin fund of funds.   • Lunch, May 11, in Wauwatosa: ‘Introducing VC 414 to Wisconsin’s early stage community”

Our panelists are the managing partners and co-founders of VC 414, Jennifer Abele and Raquel Filmanowicz. VC 414 is an early stage venture capital firm in Milwaukee that invests in high-growth potential startups. It was launched by women and other under-capitalized founders. Joining Abele and Filmanowicz at the UWM Innovation Accelerator, 1225 Discovery Parkway, will be State Rep. Dora Drake, D-Milwaukee, who will comment on capital needs in Wisconsin.

  • May 3, in Osseo: “SWIFT Entrepreneurs to offer insights on business formation, growth”

Join advisors assembled by the Tech Council for a free session to help entrepreneurs of all types learn more about the basics of launching, funding and growing a young business. This free event will be held at the Osseo-Fairchild Technical Education Center, 13396 14th St., Osseo. Registration and networking begin at 2:30 p.m., the program at 3 p.m. and a closing reception at 5:30 p.m.
