MILWAUKEE, WI – October 13, 2025 — Walnut Way Conservation Corp. invites the community to celebrate the 25th Annual Harvest Day Festival on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Clarence and Cleopatra Johnson Park, 1919 W. Fond du Lac Avenue, in Milwaukee’s historic Lindsay Heights neighborhood.

Now in its 25th year, Harvest Day has grown from a neighborhood block party into one of Milwaukee’s most cherished community festivals, celebrating the culture, creativity, and collective strength of Lindsay Heights. The milestone event will feature live music, family activities, local vendors, and community resources.

The day’s festivities will include a variety of family-friendly activities for all ages, including:

  • Performances by the Milwaukee Flyers Tumbling Team
  • A children’s area with face painting
  • Interactive health and wellness booths
  • Local food and product vendors
  • Informational displays from community organizations

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy an energetic lineup of music and movement, led by host Jamila Carney, Milwaukee’s self-described “Minister of Movement,” who will guide multiple line-dance sessions. DJ Doc B will keep the momentum going from morning through afternoon, leading up to a lively finale performance by the ten-piece R&B ensemble Brew City Soul.

“Harvest Day is all about neighbors and families coming together to celebrate what makes Lindsay Heights special — our people, our creativity, and our shared spirit,” said Antonio Butts, Executive Director of Walnut Way Conservation Corp. “It’s a reflection of what Walnut Way is all about: unity, growth, and joy.”

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.walnutway.org.
