Two Birds Partners with Urban Ecology Center to promote sustainability in the community for private events
New venue Prairie Springs on Park will cater to eco-conscious clients
(Milwaukee, WI – October 8, 2024 – Two Birds Event Group is proud to partner with Urban Ecology Center to operate a new eco-conscious event space. Renovations are underway to transform a dilapidated warehouse at the Riverside Park property (1420 E. Park Place) into a stunning event venue nestled among native prairies and lush green forestry, right along the Milwaukee River.
“We are thrilled to partner with Two Birds to bring the Urban Ecology Center’s vision for Prairie Springs on Park to life in the spring of 2025,” says UEC Executive Director Jen Hense. “We admire Ramsey, Tyler and their team’s approach to creating memorable spaces and events across Milwaukee and look forward to working together.”
Sustainability has always been a part of the Two Birds Event Group mission and vision, as a leader in the events industry that is fraught with waste. By adopting sustainable practices during events like recycling and composting, and through partnerships with organizations like Plastic Free MKE, Milwaukee Riverkeeper, Harbor District, and One Tree Planted, Two Birds is making an impact on the community and environment. They have been recognized by several local media outlets as well as Ivy House being named ”Best of Green Venue in Milwaukee” by the Shepherd Express in 2023.
