Supervisor Vincent Invites Residents to Enjoy Newly Renovated Whitnall Park Beer Garden
MILWAUKEE – County Supervisor Kathleen Vincent is excited to help announce the season-opening celebration of the Whitnall Park Beer Garden and the newly renovated Root River Parkway and expanded parking lot.
The keg tapping and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on May 5th at 5:00 PM at the Beer Garden located at 8831 North Root River Parkway, Greendale.
“I invite everyone to come out and enjoy the newly renovated park and my favorite beer garden in the county,” said Supervisor Vincent. “I look forward to tapping the keg and greeting residents in this jewel of the Milwaukee County Parks system.”
According to the Milwaukee County Parks Department, the newly renovated Root River Parkway features a 2,100-foot segment of reconstructed parkway and an expanded ADA-accessible parking lot. Additionally, the parkway and walking path have been installed with LED lighting to illuminate the area during the evening beer garden. Supervisor Vincent will be involved in the ribbon cutting, officially declaring the area open to the public.
The Beer Garden will be open seven days a week this year, from Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 9 PM, and Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays from 11 AM to 9 PM.
Free beer and root beer will be offered from 5 PM to 5:30 PM during the grand opening ceremony.
