Six New Democrats Sworn Into The State Senate

MADISON – Today, six new Senate Democrats took the oath of office to serve in the Wisconsin State Senate. Senate Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton) released the following statement:

“Having broken the Republican supermajority, Senate Democrats are ready to continue our work on behalf of Wisconsinites. We know people throughout the state are struggling with accessing affordable child care and healthcare, parents are worried about the safety of their children at school, seniors deserve to retire with dignity, and folks are facing increasing costs. My colleagues and I are ready to reach across the aisle to enact comprehensive, commonsense solutions to address our constituents’ kitchen table issues.”
