Milwaukee, WI – October 1, 2024— Sid McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, invites Milwaukee residents to join her for “Happy Hour for Harris,” an energizing event held at Café Lulu in Bay View on October 14, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The gathering aims to foster positive energy and high spirits in support of the Harris-Walz campaign in the lead-up to the upcoming presidential election – when every voice and vote counts.

The event will feature two special guests: Democratic National Committee Secretary Jason Rae and Wisconsin State Senator Chris Larson. Rae made history when he was elected to the Democratic National Committee at just 17 years old, becoming the youngest person ever to hold this position. Since then, he has been a key figure in national politics, steering the roll call at the Democratic National Convention and working on numerous campaigns, including those of Allen Thomell and Herb Kohl. Larson, a passionate advocate for public education, healthcare, and economic opportunity, has dedicated his career to advancing progressive policies in Wisconsin. The Democratic Party of Wisconsin will provide complimentary food.

“Having Secretary Jason Rae and State Senator Chris Larson join us at Happy Hour for Harris is truly meaningful,” said Sid McCain. “Their leadership and dedication to inclusivity and civic engagement speak to the heart of what this event is about—coming together, amplifying every voice, and showing that every vote has the power to shape our future.”
