Public Market to host MKE CHEF Collaboration Dinner to benefit 7 charities
All-star list of Wisconsin chefs and culinary experts will cook 7-course dinner to raise money for charities.
Milwaukee, WISC – Milwaukee Public Market announced today details of the MKE CHEF Collaboration Dinner event it will host on Sunday, August 21, starting at 5:00 p.m. The event will feature a 7-course dinner prepared by 7 of the areas most acclaimed chefs and culinary teams, with proceeds benefiting 7 charitable organizations. The dishes will be complimented with beverage pairings from the representatives of Lost Whale.
The MKE CHEF Collaboration Dinner was started in 2017 by Chef Pawlak with a mission to bring together local food industry professionals, with the proceeds from the dinner benefiting charities of each chef’s choosing. Each dinner raises thousands of dollars for the charities listed. This year marks the 4th event in the MKE CHEF Collaboration Dinner history and its first return since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The full list of this year’s chefs and associated charities will include:
- Adam Pawlak; Egg & Flour – This Time Tomorrow Foundation
- Ramses Alvarez; Dia Bom – Community Liver Alliance
- Cole Ersel; Milkweed Kitchen – Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
- Joe Muench; Black Shoe Hospitality – Urban Ecology Center
- Karen Bell & Alex Lyskowicz; Bavette – Wellpoint Care Network
- Kevin Sloan; Pabst Theater Group – Sojourner Truth House
- Kurt & Katie Fogle; Dairyland/Mid-Way Bakery – Stryve365
The dinner will take place on the Public Market’s second level mezzanine area, starting with a 5:00 p.m. cash-bar welcome/cocktail hour, with live music being performed by Old Sam & The Teardrops. The first course of the dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. Interested parties can sign up to reserve their seat online for $250.00 per person. Early registration is encouraged, as the event will be limited to a 60-person capacity to offer a more intimate setting with chefs and other attendees.
“To host an event like this, where we can showcase an all-star list of culinary talent and raise money for 7 separate charities, is the type of experience and partnership we are thrilled to be a part of,” said Paul Schwartz, executive director of the Milwaukee Public Market and Business Improvement District #2. “This is a truly unique experience that will benefit so many lives.”
