Molly Sullivan has dreamed of opening her own café for quite some time. This weekend she will be able to fulfill that dream when Miss Molly’s Café & Pastry Shop opens Saturday July 22, at 9201 W. Center St. Ms. Sullivan, a former Milwaukee pastry chef, has been in the service industry since she was a teenager.

Alderman Jim Bohl said the location is at a prime intersection in a vibrant and walkable neighborhood. “I am pleased to see Miss Molly’s Café as a welcome addition to the neighborhood surrounding Mount Mary University,” he said.

The café can seat 24 people inside and another 24 on an outdoor patio that has access to a fireplace as well. The menu itself will house a focus on healthy selections, including vegan and gluten-free options.

Seasonal breakfast and lunch items, pastries, and espresso drinks are just some of the possible meal selections at Miss Molly’s Café & Pastry Shop. Miss Molly’s will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
