MCSO Responds to Fatal Crash
When MCSO personnel arrived on scene, they observed that a van had struck the crash attenuator barrier of the Park Place exit ramp and became engulfed in flames.
Milwaukee, WI – On Monday, May 27, at approximately 11:44 a.m., Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office personnel were dispatched to a report of a one-vehicle crash and fire on northbound Wisconsin Highway 145 approaching the Park Place exit ramp. When MCSO personnel arrived on scene, they observed that a van had struck the crash attenuator barrier of the Park Place exit ramp and became engulfed in flames. The Milwaukee Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, a male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash to determine the factors that were involved.
