Fatal Crash on the 5000 block of W. Silver Spring Dr. Friday, May 23, 2025
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Friday, May 23, 2025, at approximately 11:55 p.m., on the 5000 block of W. Silver Spring Drive. A vehicle collided with an excavator that was parked. The driver, an 18-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries. The passenger of the vehicle, an 18-year-old, sustained fatal injuries. He was arrested. Speed is suspected to be a factor. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
